How this site works

Heavy Duty Bunks compares bunk and loft beds that makers rate for adult weight. It covers guest rooms, cabins, staff housing and short-term rentals.

What gets checked

1. Weight per bunk, overall height, room between bunks and price. Each comes from the maker's own product page, read on November 4, 2026, and links back to it.
2. A second page where one exists. A large retailer's listing or a manual. The sources page says which numbers have one.
3. Conflicts are held. If a maker's page gives two numbers for the same thing, the table shows "Held" until it is fixed.

Money

No bed maker pays this site, and no beds were sent free. Product buttons are plain links to the maker. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
